Book the Village Hall

Hallmaster: Venue Online Booking System

First, click Bookings Diary to check availability

  1. Then, book online by clicking  the + symbol on the day you wish to book. If you don’t see the + symbol the facility is not available to book.

  2. You will  be directed to the Booking Request form, which will open in a new page. You will be asked to enter your contact details and create a password so that you can track your booking status.

  3. Once completed, press Save and the request will automatically be sent to the Bookings Secretary for processing, you will also receive an email from us confirming the request has been sent - this is not confirmation of your booking

  4. You will be asked to sign and return the Terms and Conditions of hire, and you will be sent an invoice. Once the signed document and the payment have been received, you will be sent information on accessing the hall key.

HIRE CHARGES (Applicable from 1st July 2023)  

Main Village Hall

* Local individuals or local non-profit making organisations 

Daytime (09.00-17.59) 0 - 2 hours  £18.00 Each extra hour  £6.00

Evening (18.00-23.30) 0-2 hours  £23.00 Each extra hour  £7.00

Non-Local or Profit Making Organisations

Daytime (09.00-17.59)  0 - 2 hours £23.00 Each extra Hour  £7.00

Evening (18:00- 23.30) and Weekend 0-2 hours  £43.00  Each extra hour  £7.00

Charges include use of kitchen for tea/coffee making. 

Weekend Local and Non Local/Business

Whole day and evening rate to be negotiated

Full use of kitchen facilities for food preparation - £10 extra 


Base rate for 2-hour session £10.00 Each extra hour £3.00

* Local includes Marnhull, Todber, Moorside, Stour Provost, Fifehead Magdalene and Gibbs Marsh

Facilities at a glance 

  • Capacity for 87 people seated at x30 4’x2’ tables, 120 seated theatre style or a maximum of 150 dancing

  • Stage with curtains providing access from Green Room to the side

  • Disabled access and toilet facilities

  • Parking for 40 cars

  • Cycle rack for 4 bicycles

  • Tables and chairs available for hire

  • Kitchen available to hire offering preparation areas, electric cooker, dishwasher, plate warmer, water heater, refrigerator, ample cutlery and crockery

  • Bar area with seperate serving hatch, wine and beer glasses for hire

  • Stage lighting by arrangement

  • PA system with hearing loop and wireless microphone



As the hirer of the hall you are covered by our public liability insurance but if you have a third-party provider at your event, such as a bouncy castle, soft play area, or DJ, we would need to see a copy of their company’s public liability insurance. Please note, bouncy castles must be limited in size to 12 feet x 12 feet and 10 feet high.
